Suki Pure Skin Care - 100% Natural - Beautifully Does the JobRarely do I find a skin care line that moves me as much as the Suki product line. Mind you, before I became a full time yogi, I worked within the beauty industry and was lucky enough (and sometimes not-so-lucky when bad reactions occurred) to try some of the “best-of-the-best” in skin care. But when I started examining what I put in and on my body, the search for organic and natural skin care became like a quest for the holy grail.
Two lines that I stayed loyal to before I found Suki, were Dr. Hauschka and Jurlique. Dr. Haushcka is the true leader in holistic skin care. And, I still supplement with Dr. Hauschka products, but the true basic I needed from my skin care, facial cleansing, Dr. Hausckha’s famed cleansing cream, never really did it for me. Jurlique, the champion of organic and biodynamic skin care, I will have to credit for truly changing my skin. I will be forever thankful to their soothing foaming cleanser. But as a yogi and writer, I find the cost of their products prohibitive. I know this sounds like a eulogy for products past but enter Suki.

I was introduced to Suki by a yogi with excellent skin. I started off with the suggested products for my skin which we determined was sensitive and, uh, mature. For a little over a month I’ve been using them in the morning: the cleansing lotion, facial toner with shitake, followed by complexion brightening cream. My face is already so glowing in the morning from my night regime, that I feel like this cleansing just allows me to apply the brightening cream to a prepped face. The complexion cream is a bit pricey, as it contains hard to find rose wax, but as a person of color who tends to spot and tan easily, my skin has never looked more radiant, even and glowing.

The night regime is just as exceptional and a joy to partake in. This vegan product –lemongrass cleanser — gets off the day’s grime, refreshes the skin and evens its tone. This product is great for guys, too. It starts off like a scrub then turns to a delightful foam. After rinsing, I finish with a spritz of the toner and a few drops of the moisture serum with carrot, myrrh and sandalwood. This product is a sensuous elixir for the skin.

In a month, this a.m./p.m. cleansing routine has changed my skin dramatically and makes the task of caring for one’s skin a joy. Now if Suki made a shower gel or body soap, I’d be a full brand user.
