The Orgasmic Diet — Field Researchers Needed
Most of my readers know I’m passionate about good, organic food, especially if it comes from sustainable sources. Speaking of passionate, when I saw, in a major “foodies” kitchen, the book The Orgasmic Diet: A Revolutionary Plan to Lift Your Libido and Bring You to Orgasm by Marrena Lindberg, I had to do some questioning and research. The premise behind the book is not startling. It’s not news that a lot of women are unable to reach orgasm or that people want to improve their sex lives. This book has a simple diet and exercise plan to help women achieve an orgasm and a heightened quality of sex. How you ask? By designing a diet and exercise regime, the author asserts that this program “…helps to regulate a woman’s brain chemistry and body functioning and bring her to mind-blowing orgasm…” According to a columnist at The Daily Mail, this diet definitely does work. However, I don’t know how the diet author qualifies mind-blowing, but I’ll take her word for it.
The Orgasmic Diet consists of four simple parts:
· Low carb diet that avoids “orgasm killers” like refined sugar and caffeine
· High doses of fish oil supplements
· Internal exercises that go far beyond Kegels
· Maintenance of serotonin and dopamine levels
Once I got over the title, the interesting aspect of the book is that it takes away the psychological stigma of needing to up your game, if you will, and focuses on nutrition and exercise (hence me writing about this) in order to help you achieve a greater sense of pleasure. All of it makes sense and is certainly worth a try, especially some of the inner pelvic floor exercises which are near and dear to a yogis heart, but I don’t know if I’m quite ready to give up caffeine for a heightened “O”…
If you or someone you know has tried this diet, please let me know.

Does this diet work for men? I’m all for extending the 15 seconds.
LOL — if you can master a Kegel move then we can consider this for men, too!!!
