Build muscle - Muscle is more dense than fat, it takes more energy to sustain muscle. Increasing muscle mass is the single best means of increasing your metabolism.

Increase your daily activities - If you’re more active, you will burn more calories and use more energy, which will result in an increased metabolism. To increase your daily activities try climbing stairs instead of taking the elevator, take daily walks, or play recreational sports.

Reduce fat consumption - By reducing fat intake you will have more lean mass on your body. Start by cutting out junk foods first. The doughnuts and fries have gotta go!
