Coffee Grind Scrub: At-Home Spa Treatments I love at-home spa treatments because most of the items you need, you probably already have in your kitchen or bathroom cabinets. Here are some ways you can use honey, yogurt, aloe vera liquid, oils, sugars and even coffee grinds, to make fantastic at home spa treatments in a matter of seconds.

Honey Yogurt and Aloe Vera Masque
Put your daily dose of yogurt to use on your face, with a honey yogurt and aloe vera masque. As a moisturizing masque, this is great for the fall weather and winter climate. Just mix two tablespoons of plain yogurt, one ounce of local honey and about one ounce of aloe vera liquid ( not aloe gel, it isn’t as natural) together in a bowl. Now just apply the mixture to your face and take a breather for 15 minutes.

Banana Scrub
Making a banana scrub for your face and body is simple too. Just smash an old banana in a bowl, add a few tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of tubinado sugar (or a sugar you have at home), and mix all together slowly. Put on your face and also your hips, elbows, hands, anywhere that could use some extra TLC. You can add more sugar if you want a rougher scrub.

Coffee Grind Scrub
My absolute favorite is a coffee hand and foot scrub. It is great for tired feet and wore hands. Basically you just take the morning’s old coffee grinds and put them to use. You put two handfuls of the grinds into a bowl and mix two table spoons or squirts of your favorite lotion, such as St. Ives. If you prefer you can add hand soap. Next mix together and slop it on your hands and rub them together for a minute or so, as if you are putting lotion on naturally. Then rinse with warm water, and you will notice quickly how soft your hands are. This is amazing on feet too!

You don’t have to spend a bundle to have beauty skin and a spa treatment right in your home.
