Exercise More by Moving to the CityGoing green does not necessarily equate to healthy living. According to a recent study performed by the Nivel Institute, people who live in green areas – more rural settings – walk less than people who live in urban areas – about 60% less. People living in green areas walked an average of 180 minutes per week, compared to 250 minutes per week with people living in urban areas. That’s a difference of about an hour each week.
